After 16 years I am back in Sarajevo. (Jan 2011). I am on the streets all the time, in my ex-neighborhood, in downtown, expecting to see my old friends or at least familiar faces ... Nobody was there. New faces, new faces are everywhere and old buildings in the same shape as they used to be many years ago, now even worse with all war-marks.
This is a back-side of the building where I was looking for dear friends ... Only black cat was standing there, not afraid of my presence! I see some names on a wall - names of then little boys, friends of my sons.
"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
