Bridging Employments Supports

Posted by
Mariana Maoduš (Waterloo, Canada) on 16 August 2012 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

A Homeless woman, with all her belongings, even bed sheets folded so carefully, sitting in a bus-stop cabin, just a few steps far from the "Bridging Employment Supports" Center ! I hope the bus-drivers would not tell her to leave her 'shelter-home'.

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."

Hard hitting street life shot.

A really fantastic street image- I really think the reflected images of the people lend to the feeling of isolation for this woman. Terrific.

A wonderful image and very sad situation for this lady. Politicians here are wanting to cut back on the little supports the poor receive. The savings would go to tax cuts for the rich.
