Silence, Emptiness and Confusion

Posted by
Mariana Maoduš (Waterloo, Canada) on 20 July 2012 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

My original image was not complete to my eyes, so I am adding the portrait of Kerry who I see each time I go to downtown. He is very changed, does not talk any more as he talked to me a very first time I met him. Whatever I say to him, he is smiling on this way, looking at me, saying nothing !
When posted a first, original image his face and our last seeing was on my mind !

Canon EOS REBEL XT 1/100 second F/4.5 ISO 400 75 mm

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."

Life is a prison only if we allow it, most of us can make the choice that will dictate the course of our lives, but for those who make bad choices life itself becomes their prison.

Basile Pesso from Paris, City of Aminus, France

The first kind of abstract was very speaking alone, you added to it a very good portrait of a man I know from another picture by you, it should have made two posts, you chose to unify them, why not : it's an interesting assembly.

20 Jul 2012 5:31pm

@Basile Pesso: thx Basile . Yes, I felt at the beginning that first image should stay alone, but added this portrait, which is not the same as a first one of Kerry. A month later he looks the same, the same expression on his face, the same troubles, and sleepless nights ...

Basile Pesso from Paris, City of Aminus, France

It could*, not it should.

Basile Pesso from Paris, City of Aminus, France

Yes, I know it's not the same, that's why I said "a portrait of a man I know", which isn't the same than "a portrait of a man, portrait that I had already seen", but it can be confusing :)
