Visiting The Graveyard

Canon EOS REBEL XT 1/125 second F/5.6 ISO 400 100 mm

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

Ooh Mariana, this is heart rendering, his expression and the soft fall of snow and of course your wonderful B&W. There was a very famous little dog in Edinburgh which would not leave it's masters grave until it died 14 years later, this is a true story, see here

Sadness all over ...........
This image reminds me of a movie I saw yesterday, based on a true story, about a dog that was waiting 9 years in front of the railway station every day for his boss to come home from work. Unfortunately his boss had died. After all those years the dog died on that same spot. So sad!! It has passed my mind several times already today ...........
Beautiful DoF and perfect in b&w!!

Pnyks from Warsaw, Poland

Amazing shot. I started imagining the dog is waiting for somebody dear who will never show up again and it made me sob a bit, but then I thought of our dog. She has a bunch of loving people around, but when it starts raining cats and dogs she looks exactly the same as the dog in your image. Sad and abandoned. I hope the dog you portrayed is also just making the sad impression...

28 Dec 2011 3:53pm
