Running after Tram

Canon EOS REBEL XT 1/500 second F/10.0 ISO 400 75 mm

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

DULCIE from Danville, CA, United States

Beautiful inky black and white. Love that motion and the wonderful shape and appeal of that tram. This has so much drama...and it is SO not like anything I'd ever see in Danville !! ;-)

Denny Jump Photo from Easton, PA, United States

What a cool, awesome, amazing composition here, Mariana! Man I LOVE this...Look at the older guy - he looks really cool with the cane, scarf and light colored coat and his beard makes me think he is a jazz musician or a professor - either one I love. ...He is running also, it seems...very cool. The other fellow with his back to us is very obvioulsy running, of course, to catch that train.... but the old guy makes me wonder where he might be going ..So this image all together has action, drama, and very much it has intrigue! A Beautiful image! ... I LOVE this one!.....Beautiful job here Mariana!! Cheers - DJ

8 Sep 2011 12:31pm

@Denny Jump Photo: thanks Denny . I will post two more shots of this cool old man . He was running to catch another tram :) Right here on this place where is this tram, 6 years was standing a tram in Sarajevo that was hit and smashed by big grenade!

I was talking about 1992, when right here was smashed one tram, with people in it ... I was happy to see that Tram system is recovered and was working well , when was there this year ;) Do not worry about this guy ;) He is well ...and running like a guy in his 30 :) ha ha :)
