Blind man

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

Gérard Beullac from Paris, France

Rick from Toronto, Canada

Wonderful, Mariana... I love this slight tilt to the frame, his placement very near the viewer and that line of sight-enable human beings to one side. Also the depth of field is great, to show where he possibly walked from and just how much he has to deal with to get around there. Excellent human story imagery!

27 Mar 2011 3:40pm

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Superb story telling, a difficult line for him to tread and so many people around, just to spectate?
