Exhausted Santa :)

Canon PowerShot SX100 IS 1/80 second F/4.0 ISO 80 6 mm

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

2 Jan 2011 5:47pm

@Martin A. Mora: maybe for us girls is easier to establish a cool conversation with strangers on the street .. or maybe I am wrong, but for me - it is never ever a problem ... I know how to approach people, how and what to say to get his smile and go into some easy conversation ;)) thx Martin :)

slowly I understand, why you called a past shot "daydreamer`s nightmare", he is the same man, right?
the texture is pretty good, but at the moment I´m not shure, if this portrait funcitons better in B/W.
But this is only a personal question!

2 Jan 2011 9:53pm

Brine from France

As I love, Mariana, the characters whom you make meet in each of your photos... Accident victims of the life, who concern the face the strokes of fate which they had to undergo! This man has a hard glance, all his attitude shows the distrust which he has now to the others...
It is the photo which speaks directly to our heart, as very often with your works... And if it is the Father Christmas, it is exhausted, indeed and very dark, while he made the happiness of million children! Well, one year of rest is imperative : ^)
