Slow Seduction Silent Night

Canon EOS REBEL XT 1/60 second F/5.0 ISO 400 43 mm

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

What I especially like here, Mariana, is seeing his smile 'coming and going' because of the reflection. You can't even think "that dirty old man!" :)

Carreer women can't break through the 'glass ceiling'' very often ... and this old man can only smile knowing that the glass window is going to be as close as he gets.

A case of look but don't touch ;-)

Hey Mariana : the place is called MISSBEHAV'N, at 650 Queen Street West, about two blocks west of Bathurst street on the north side of the street. I'll take some pics, sure... could have had several very funny ones over the years. I have seen foot patrol cops just standing and drooling through the windows.

8 Dec 2010 2:18pm

@Rick: hey, thanks a lot . now I understand that taking pictures would not be allowed . right ? I would not like to have any issue with police. Have them once in my house , asking to check my camera, after I shooted one so cool reflection on TD Bank. People or whoever from the bank saw my license plate , called police and this is what happened to me ....

RBL from Oxford, United States

8 Dec 2010 2:36pm

Rick from Toronto, Canada

Mariana : You can take them from across the street (which is narrow) or at an angle on the same sidewalk, I think. I am usually pretty bold but will ask permission when it seems I should, but I know what you are talking about. Last year I entered Toronto's old city hall building to take a photo of the beautiful lobby. A huge police officer yelled "you can't take pictures in here!" and began to approach me. I said "sorry, I'm deleting" and pretended to delete the frame. (they have courtrooms there and are very serious...) Okay, I am done dominating your comment section!
