Met this couple and took this picture in September, when they were homeless. Saw them today again. They are now in a shelter, happy but still outside enjoying a beautiful weather !

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

Punit from Somewhere in, India

Nice one. Yes, when one's content, life is beautiful - whatever the conditions may be. Its all about the perspectives!

A scene full of light against the totally blacked background make this one clear and potentially joyful. As often with your pics, my emotions are driven in different directions. Ok, it's fuckin' great to be alive, as Frank Zappa said, but this pair seems to enjoy in a very basic, heavy bodily and also unhealthy way, so what to think about?

Merci.

Surfing upon all your pictures, I had the simple impression of discovering life in its simplicity. I like your shots and most of the titles you gave them.
I stopped on this picture to post a comment because I found its title was so close to what I feel : Life is Beautiful.
Thanks
