Subconscious

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

DULCIE from Danville, CA, United States

Terrific effect!! How creative of you to title it thus. Gives deep meaning to this unusual image.

Concise clear photo, also displaying find detail (f.e. at the neck of the foreground man). For philosophers, communication scientists and for me.

What's amazing about this image, Mariana, is that I never saw the second person till after several seconds. I was concentrating on what I saw through the lens of his glasses!

Wow, for a second I did not see the second face, a very powerful shot. Strong emotion on the second face, the man in the hat, he looks as if he is lecturing. A perfect title

Firstly without even knowing the real context of the story here ... this is an excellent image.

Just some thoughts stimulated by your title Mariana along with a coffee caffiene rush: The subconcious is something we can't control or directly interact with even if we think we do. I'm sure that our unconcious/subconcious thinking can permeate into our concious mind but probably without us being aware of it doing so. We possibly feel all our thinking and actions are based on our living experiences. Can our concious thinking delve into our subconcious The subconcious is a fascinating notion. It might be fact or just a notion of our concious mind.

SOUL AFLAME from The bosom of Mother Nature, United Kingdom

Reminds me of a scene from a film, M. Shades of a prison scene with the two key actors meeting from both sides of the fence. And yet there is also a ghostly feeling to the far character, as though the man nearest is being visited by a spirit. Cool shot and a great eye.
