save me ....

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

shoti from somewhere in, China

you really know how to make a powerful image. that look on the person's face set against the swaying bushes makes a powerful impact to the viewer. though I think there's room for improvement here, I'm deeply moved by it already.

18 Feb 2010 6:31am

@shoti: what improvement :) Feel free to say ! Thx .

18 Feb 2010 7:39am

k@ from Paris, France

It's a gorgeous work you created here, your editing/post-processing is over creative, I never like when i don't know how much a pic is manipulated or not but when it is presented, like here, like a real masterpiece of re-creation, I enjoy it totally. It's strong, moving, deep (could be a work for Amnesty International or to help to care those who need the most) and i don't understand Shoti's word : room for improvement ? The transparency, the juxtaposition (2 worlds & 2 sorrows) are rich enough and ask for nothing else but to be accepted as it is proposed. Bravo*

18 Feb 2010 7:55am

@k@: many thx for feeling it this way:)

SOUL AFLAME from The bosom of Mother Nature, United Kingdom

Haunting and powerful. To my eyes I see images of the holocaust, the forgotten children perhaps. I see the emotional casualties of civil wars the world over, children left alone after thier parents have perished. The bars represent the prison that will be thier memories for the remainder of thier lives. And through those bars that encarcerate them, the flowers in fields of freedom that perhaps they will never touch as the emotional scars cut deep.
