A Mother's Protectiveness

Posted by
Mariana Maoduš (Waterloo, Canada) on 6 October 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

"Child and Mother never truly part -

Bound in the beating of each other's heart."

~ Charlotte Gray

*

"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

Amir Madanipour from Tehran, Iran

I'm so thankful for your favor to me. I think we have three diffrent ideas about photoes in general: Good, medium and bad. The picture that you saw and left the comment about it, is a medium picture, in my opinion and I don't think, it was so awful. Maybe I've exagerated about your picture. I will be grateful if you pay attention to my pictures in future again! And this picture: * * * three stars from five.

How very, very true. My mother and I have been close all my life. I couldn't imagine it any other way.

Great photo and wonderful processing. Any reason why you picked green as a background?

7 Oct 2009 1:50am

@Shrigley Photography: Just to match her dress. Her dress colors are original, I did not want to change anything about it, and all other colors I tried to adjust to this dress :)
