"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

shoti from Everywhere in the, Philippines

really? hmmm I think my dog already proved that. he always waits for the last person in the house to go upstairs before he goes to his bedroom(or rather, our bedroom) and sleep. very lovely creatures, dogs are. I think humans and dogs are in the same level when it comes to understanding emotions. they know when you're angry, happy, sad, they just know. anyway, this is a lovely portrait of a mutt. his face looks like he's on guard and at the same time, he looks like he wanna play! dunno what's running on his mind. nice work Mariana :D

11 Aug 2009 3:46pm

@shoti: Rascal is super dog, very well trained. He got a sign - HOLD ! And he stays like that till he get - let's go :)))) It is never a problem to take a super shot of him while he is on HOLD :))) Thanks Shoti !!

11 Aug 2009 9:22pm

I would call this "anxiously waiting" due to the tongue sticking out and the dog's anticipation that his/her master will arrive anytime soon. great shot in mono! =]
