"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."
~ Andre Kertesz

There are only two ways to be absolutely free. 1) to be so rich you have no cares. 2) To be so poor you have no cares. The two guys look well fed. The guy on the right has the money to by cigarettes and the guy on the left has a fine watch! The lady looks like she is struggling to hold up her groceries. There are always more than one way to look at things! A controversial shot for sure. Excellent!

19 Jul 2009 10:54am

Lynn from United States

EXCELLENT SHOT!!! No matter which way you look at it...you captured this well! The expression both facial and body language says so much on the woman. With the men it's hard to tell because as Craig said they are well fed with some extras...you certainly made us think :))

Will there be traffic jam or something else? And will the lady be out of it? I'm afraid about her as one of the two guys did have a strange exoression in his eyes! This shot has a good tone which I like best! Congratulations on this candid!

20 Jul 2009 12:53am

@flyingwind风飞扬: Sure, it was frequent place, but I zoomed in into them only . She was about crossing a street, and I was in a car on red light - good chance for a shot :)) In fact I was more interested to shot guys, and was pleased when saw a lady with her look at guys on shot once I transferred pictures on the computer .
