"The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that it's right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting."

MARIANA from waterloo, Canada

I wish to include an email, a comment on this photo, I got from very special friend :
"These 4 photos are brilliant conceptual art using photography to convey a complex commentary on contemporary society. What can not be put into words without sounding preachy or trite, you have put into this group of photos. You have a deep understanding of life and society and have the ability to communicate that understanding in a non-verbal manner. That, my love, is the very essence of art."

4 Jun 2009 5:47pm

Ti from Alpharetta, United States

So what exactly was the shit that happened?
The fact that she got shit from someone in an email or text message?
That the other girl walked into the story frame and ruined the shit?
The guy in the photo album raising his hand yelling: "Turn that shit some place else!"
The old man covering his mouth saying: "Oh, shit!!"

Or, all of the above? Now that's all the shit in life! :-)

4 Jun 2009 9:00pm

@Ti: Well, we all have different vision when looking at photos. Somebody sees only colors and composition, some other see the meaning of the photo. You read my mind pretty well. Yes, story would be something like that . First shot : She got an email from her darli8ng :)) Book is opened on very nice page, with naked body . Girls expectation would be - oh, date tonight, sex ! Second shot : She starts reading sms . Her darling telling her - get lost ! I met another girl . Now, take a look at book. Old guy screaming ! Oh, no . Shit happened ! Third shot : Girl is feeling bad . A friend is coming to help. Take a look at book . Another guy is on that page . friend was telling her - fuck him, forget him . there are other guys . you will forget the idiot soon . Forth shot : No, nothing helped. They both leave . Girl is upset . Any sense ? That was my story when created this collage ! Unfortunately people are very quick when looking at other people pictures and do not see the point very often . I am glad you spent a little bit more time on this shit :))) ha ha ha MAny thanks .

Ti from Alpharetta, United States

Glad I was able to play and played well. :-)

If you spend time and read my bio then you wouldn't be surprise why I see things differently... Hope we'll play again sometime. :-)

5 Jun 2009 12:40am

@Ti: I just read and love what you are saying " Being a A.H. I don't praise people's photos for color, sharpness, composition, special effect, etc., I comment on the messages they presented themselves to me. May not necessary be what you wanted to express or hear, but what I feel and observe from it that stimulates my thoughts...and I expect the same from you! Not to call you an A.H. as well, of course..." EXCELLENT !!!! That is my point too , but you know I comment often to some flower pictures, or landscapes that really does not invoke any feelings in me . That is fair , since these people love that more than some more deep themes :))

vz-nostalgia from United States

hmmmm.... interesting conversation I see between you and Ti. Not often that happens in teh photoblogosphere. Mostly "good crop" or "nice color". :-)

5 Jun 2009 1:04am

@vz-nostalgia: I agree with you . Seems people are rushing to comment as more as possible photos to show their respect for friends' photos and work . Ti was interesting about the title in my shot , that almost nobody understood . So, I told him my story and vision of that collage :)) You agree with me ? Do you feel the same while looking at this collage ?

Stef67 from in my head, France

5 Jun 2009 6:35am
