A thousand years of stories in one face. Always like such portraits, although the vanity in most people when they look at themselves in such shots makes them not like what the rest of us like - the true nature of the eyes and smiles that come through in such photographs.

Thats one of the sharpest and most powerful portraits I've ever seen Mariana. I like how I cant see the end of the beard - i can imagine that it flows on for afew more feet! :-)

@Stu: thx Stu . Yes, his beard is very , very long till his waist ! I actually do not like this frame, for I really wanted to have a portrait of this man with his complete beard :)) I never saw a man with white, totally white and so long beard . Maybe some other time I post another one . This time I liked his eyes and all these wrinkles around, although my title say - gray hair .
