Living History (1)Posted by MARIANA (Waterloo, Canada) on 19 May 2009 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio. The lifestyle of the Mennonites can be seen in the Joseph Schneider House in Kitchener, one of the oldest homesteads in Ontario. This site is described as a "living history" experience where guides in traditional costumes act as inhabitants of the home, offering their visitors biscuits that have been baked in the old German manner and re-enact life as it was lived in the 19th Century.
